The Future is Now, 4.15.25

After today, I will have 23 days left in my classroom with students. This time of transition has been filled with a roller coaster of emotions- sad to be leaving a place that feels like home, already missing my co-workers, excited to be entering a new phase of my life, fearful of having too much time on my hands, uncertain about my financial future, anxious at the thought of starting over, etc. I could go on and on. The most important thing, though, is that I have not had the feeling of “Oh, no. I made the wrong decision.” My co-worker, with whom I have worked for the past 20 years, recently reminded me that I’ve started over many times in my life and with that statement came a moment of clarity. I know I’ve always landed on my feet through so many new beginnings, so this one will be no different.

Although I’ll be spending more time with my kids and grand kids, with no full time teaching to work around, I will still have much more time to create new content and have been busy making some plans. What I have in the works will be announced in more detail on Substack and Youtube, shortly. If you are interested, subscribe to either one or both of those platforms to stay informed as soon as new content comes available. (If you have already been on my email list, you will remain there via Substack.)

All of my content (creating sacred spaces, short yoga sessions, art meditations, etc.) will be online and I will be selling my artwork at Blumenhof Winery and via my Etsy Shop (shop update and revamp coming soon). If you think you may be interested in any of this, I’ve included links below.
